DSTV Settings For HD PVR Decoders Using A One Cable System

Press MENU on Your DSTV Remote Control

  1. then  Go to ADVANCED OPTIONS – press OK 
  2. When Prompted, you need to Enter Pin code 9949 
  3. Go to NETWORK SETUP press OK
  4. Home Network Dstv IS20 PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE DEFAULT VALUES (Frequency should be 11594 and Symbol rate 27500 )
  5. Press P+ button on the remote to access new networks.

Additional Network 1 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY Left key to remove numbers, then enter 11210
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV
  4. Press P+

Additional Network 2 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 11250
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV
  4. Press P+ 

Additional Network 3 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 11290
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV
  4. Press P+ 

Additional Network 4 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 11330
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV
  4. Press P+

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 11370
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV
  4. Press P+

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 11410
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV 
  4. Press P+

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 10930
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV
  4. Press P+ 

Additional Network 8 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 10890
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV 
  4. Change FEC to 2/3 
  5. Change Modulation to 8PSK
  6. Press P+ 

Additional Network 9 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 10850
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV 
  4. Change FEC to 2/3 
  5. Change Modulation to 8PSK
  6. Press P+

Additional Network 10 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 10810
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV 
  4. Press P+

Additional Network 11 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 10770
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV 
  4. Change FEC to 2/3 
  5. Change Modulation to 8PSK
  6. Press P+

Additional Network 12 Dstv IS20

  1. Go to FREQUENCY  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 10730
  2. Go to SYMBOL RATE  Left key to remove numbers, then enter 30000
  3. Go to USE NIT – right key to SMATV 
  4. Press P+

Press the yellow button on the remote. 

If this did not help, then do a FLASH CLEARING and redo above steps. Should you experience further problems, please contact your body corporate delegate or if you are in the Western Cape you can contact Cape Direct Connect to come and install the DSTV decoder for you.
